Lauren Kinsler is an award-winning filmmaker, writer and editor. Lauren was most recently a Sundance Screenwriters Lab Finalist with her feature script Dial Tone. Lauren's short narrative film WIDOW has played at the Sarasota Film Festival and will be had it's New York debut in the NewFilmmakers Festival at The Anthology Film Archives last November. In 2009 Lauren was selected to attend the prestigious Berlinale Talent Campus during the Berlinale Film Festival. She co-directed the documentary, Calvin's World, which won the Best Of Season Award in 2005 on the Austin Music Channel and Honorable Mention at Roving Eye Documentary Festival in Rhode Island. Calvin's World has shown, amongst others, at the Hot Springs International Documentary Festival, Chicago International Reel Shorts Festival and the Florida Film Festival. She has also directed a music video for the band Xiu Xiu that premiered at 2006's South by Southwest Film Festival. She is currently getting her MFA in Film Production at The University of Texas.
